Facts: Father (client) sought sole legal and physical custody of his 3 minor children.  Mother was too busy with her new boyfriend and child to properly care for her existing children.  Consequently, the children were often left alone, unsupervised and unfed.  In addition, the children kept getting re-infested with lice as a result of mothers refusal to continue to treat the infestation pursuant ot the doctors orders as father had been doing.  Mother was also physically and verbally abusing the children.
Verdict: For father.  Full legal and physical custody for father with some visitation for mother provided mother exercise visitation responsibly and completely.

Type: Business Litigation.
Facts: Breach of Contract action with personal guarantee; defendant failed to pay plaintiff for merchandise (textiles/clothing) provided. Plaintiff (client) and defendant were both corporate entities. Extensive discovery and depositions. 5 day trial.
Verdict: For plaintiff in excess of $700K against corporate defendant and personal guarantor jointly and severally.

Type: Family Law.
Facts: Father (client) sought partial custody of minor child due to mother’s inability to properly control and care for child. Child was failing classes and having difficulty socializing. Extensive oral argument, examination and testimony.
Verdict: For father; full custody with visitation reserved to mother subsequent to completing joint therapy with child.

Type: Business Litigation.
Facts: Loan by Plaintiff (client) to individual defendant business owner in excess of $250K; defendant needed funds to purchase automobiles to stock his dealership. Defendant purchased and subsequently sold the cars for a profit but refused to reimburse plaintiff. Loan went into default.
Decision: Successful Motion for Summary Judgment by plaintiff including punitive damages for Intentional Misrepresentation in excess of $300K. Judgment enforcement followed resulting in complete satisfaction of judgment.

Type: Business Law.
Facts: Breach of Contract. Plaintiff (client), international tile manufacturer headquartered in Spain sought approximately $100K owed by U.S. tile distributor. Distributor cross complained for failure to provide requested merchandise.
Verdict: For plaintiff in excess of $100K.
